Attorney Steward has 20 years of corporate, legal, and higher education experience. His corporate background includes positions with several fortune 500 companies. Attorney Steward also serves as adjunct professor with Capital University and Columbus State Community College. In the community, Attorney Steward serves on the boards of ArtSafe, the Ohio Commission on Personal Finance, and Public Engagement Committee for Columbus City Schools. Formerly, he served in elected office as a member of the Columbus City Schools Board of Education, and served as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. He has also served on the board of Gear Up Ohio, the African American Advisory Council of Columbus City School, Fifth Third’s Young Bankers financial literacy program and is the past president of McNeill Farms Homeowners Association. Attorney Steward is active with his church and is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Attorney Steward is a native of Columbus. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University’s College of Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration degree from Franklin University’s Graduate School of Business, and a Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School. He is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association. Attorney Steward is admitted to practice law in Ohio and the United States district Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
